Lastly, we are not bargaining with the company for those positions right now, we are trying to take them...big difference.

That is a big difference, and there lies the rub.

Nice to know that someone has all the facts, it might be nice to share a few more. There seems to be a shortage.

Ya'll have a nice day!

The "rub" is not so bad as you think...better to try than wallow in the status quo.

I'm sure the EB will dispense the clues for edification where necessary...until then, you'll just have to wait.

Goodbye Jungle.

This was a deliberate attempt to deceive in order to force an outcome. I would like to think that our well educated pilot workforce is situationally aware enough to see it for what it is. Unfortunately for the individuals involved, it will forever define them in a way that will greatly diminish
their ability to lead or even be trusted moving forward.
I myself would like to think that our management pilots would do the minimal research into NMB precedence and see that this accretion fight has already been won (22 NMB No. 21). Now don't get me wrong, something like this would require independent thought against your master's commands. As emotional as it may be, this is reality irregardless of what Mitch states. Also, check Tony's losing streak on this issue with the UPS/IBT cases. Speaking of which, I hear the IBT & TWU are right behind the IPA in accretion of their respective airline class and craft supervisors...I mean subordinate officials.

It's out of your hands, Mitch's hands, Tony's hands, and whoever else is dragged into this spasm of denial. In the end the world ends up being a much bigger place than what UPS tells you it is...and it's round too!

One word if we don't get the cards: STAPLE (or nothing at all).

Cards or not, STAPLE has been the objective from the start. Glad to hear someone finally demonstrated a little honesty to this process.

The IPA has signed three contracts explicitly recognizing this management structure. Guess your own agreements don't matter? Good luck in the courts. I wish you millions (and lots of dues assessments) trying to fight your own agreements. Big brown is ready to take this to the mat.

Read the IPA response to the Dorsey case. The IPA argued the case against management accretion better than anyone in management could ever do.

...And what was the final outcome? A judge and/or an arbitrator will decide your fate...or, God help you, UPS will.

I keep hearing of all the great things BT has done since becoming EB Pres with a whopping 33.5% of the votes. Could someone please enlighten me with a list of his actual accomplishments. I will give you the 32/7 even though nobody is sure what the final ruling will be. And please no more "great things are coming, but we can't talk about it".

This whole BT love fest on the B&G make me want to puke! The dude is impulsive, short tempered, and has a huge misplaced ego (ie- we have enough cards).

Not exactly who you want out front Leading the IPA.

Please enlighten the audience of this forum with an example. Inquiring minds want to know. It doesn't have to be a Courier Journal article. Any public mistruth equivalent to what the IPA put out this week will do.
