This.

Read. Sign up for textcaster. Wear your pin. Put the SEC or old military lanyard, now, and wear an ALPA lanyard. You can let everyone know your favorite team when the contract is signed. Wear the new pin. And encourage your fellow pilots to do the same.

I have great confidence in my fellow pilots to do the right thing.

Agreed. Anyone who's ever experienced any form of PBS will be an auto no-vote. I wouldn't vote yes to anything with PBS even with 40 dollar an hour pay raises across the board. No exaggeration there either. It's simply that bad. Write your rep and cc the NC.

Stuff like this always gives me a chuckle...that we think MGMT cringes under the sight of ALPA lanyards...

Why don't we try this, actually staying unified by our deeds, not lanyards. Stop flying DPs, don't bid an aircraft w/o a payrate, etc...I saw the worst of the crew force during 4a2b, we showed our true colors, we are selfish and our level of unity is low. They know it and the 4400 pilots who don't read this board deliver the message daily.

Until then, I'm pulling for my favorite team.

So, in other words, wearing an ALPA lanyard is not worth your time??

When I'm working...I'm pulling for my favorite team, too. Our ALPA negotiating team!

Not wearing your ALPA lanyard and pin, especially now, is a bad "deed" imo.

Lanyards might not mean much to a manager, but they mean a lot to your fellow pilots.....

Rat,

Here's the way I see it ... If you're not part of the solution, then you're part of the problem.

You Sir, are part of the problem

I think we are being too hard on the Rat. The lanyard and pin idea is great. Not flying DPs and flying extra during 4a2b or during negotiations should they head "south" are even greater ideas. They both make a statement, just some statements say more.
