Great cover and keyboard. Makes your iPad look like a MacBook.

I've seen similar things happen in our new airplane at Duke Field. Unfortunately, the AF has strict rules about untested EMI devices and any class I EFBs that show "own ship position" are prohibited. I think the same thing applies to the FAA? At my current job at HQ Stan/Eval, I'm just telling guys that they better have the aircraft wx radar up and running at the same time...and don't talk about it. I know that's not the 100% approved solution at the moment, but it's going to take time to work the kinks out. Of course, I have no doubt that airline management, airline captains, and senior officers in the military are going to screw it up as best as they can before the twentysomethings come up with the best practices!

I'm just wondering,...if you broke the iPad in the case the company provides you'd be ok, but if you break it in your "new" case, you're probably going to be paying for it yourself.

I just got the company I pad. I'm not a paranoid person, only when nobody's following me, but it sure feels like they're watching.

They are watching everything that goes thru the IPAD. I use my company one for work only all email and personal stuff on my own.

I'm curious if the other airlines, or other industry's, that use I pads also have the same ability to monitor the I pads like FedEx? Or is this just a FedEx control freak issue?

Do we have to separate the foil we use for our hats and this use or do we have to carry around a different roll of foil for our uniform allowance?

Since I'm a caveman when it comes to electronics....how does the company iPad reveal all the onboard info? Seems like a time intensive effort to see who has solitaire games and Disney movies loaded on the iPad.

I actually think that is legal. Of course they may rat you out to the Feds if you are playing solitaire at 40,000 feet. I think some people fear that the Company Ipad may be used against them if they are really 103 miles away when they make their deviation check in, are at the beach when they call in sick, or use their social media against them if they feel like firing someone. Not sure why they think FedEx would do that though.
