It appears that Airwatch monitors your internet usage to include ip addresses of all sites visited, and can be retrieved by the company at any time.

I assume that the company is using Airwatch?

Step 1. Install Airwatch per the directive
Step 2. Settings>Privacy>Airwatch>Location services "OFF"

Has anyone filed a paylog for "pay on day off", for all the time spent reading emails, installing apps and all the other superfluous chores that come attached with being issued the iPad? I don't even want it.

Yeah, probably not a real good idea to download and post using the Airline Pilot Forum app. Quickest way to reveal your secret identity to the company .

Company supplied data plan: 3gb/month. I would assume any overage ($10/gb?) is payroll deducted. No international data yet.
From the guru:

All iPad cellular data plans have the same billing period, regardless of when they were activated. The plans run by calendar month. You will want to monitor your usage in:

iOS Settings > General > Usage > Cellular Usage

The Sent + Received totals together must be under 3Gb/month.

As of the 1st of each month, press the “Reset Statistics” button.

Seems like they'd need a provision within the CBA for a payroll deduction concerning data use overage.

There's our leverage!!
