Does the pad uplink history logs of IP addresses that youve accessed?
Is there another port that is always transmitting to a fedex ip address.
Totally get how they see everything thru their servers, like when you are on axs wifi in the aoc.
Is there some kind of screen logger that contunually captures screen shots & sends them back to the mothership? (being facetious here), but I would like to understand how the network guys can "track" you if your not connected thru their server or vpn.

I'm not a network SME, but if you are in a hotel, on hotel/home wifi, how does FDX know what you're looking at unless you download it?

Olly,
I am not an expert either, but I believe that they would be able to view all that is on the device when you log in to get updates to jepps and manuals, which we will be required to do prior to each flt. Not sure if deleteing history, etc is effective against this. Maybe a real geek could answer, but I am sure that anything that is left on the device would be retrievable/viewable.

Simply do a web search for airwatch several tech geek sites telling what the capabilities of the airwatch program are.
