I honestly don't see the point of cargo guys wearing a uniform at all. Business casual should be just fine. Somehow I doubt the boxes would care.

Don't be silly. Cargo pilots have no interaction with other human beings. Heck, they're not even human beings themselves. That's why they're exempt from fatigue and require no rest.

I agree. It would mean a lot less packing. We wear business casual when we deadhead. This is me heading to the Air France CDG first class lounge a few years ago. Maybe we can dump the uniforms in our next contract...

Lighten up Francis!

I'm tired of seeing some tubby old pork chop parading around AOC in his USMC lanyard. If you're not still able to run a 300 PFT (and you can't) hang it up and put on your ALPA lanyard. I don't need a lanyard to remind me that I am (was) a Marine. Same goes for all you girly men that were in the Air Force and Navy.

I will wear it in support of all NC efforts. Hope the CP finds me and says I am out uniform as he did to an F/O at a recent ceremony for a deceased pilot. The supporting F/O had never owned a Blazer, but bought one to wear at his Buddys Memorial. He couldn't find his original wings but wore the mandatory Blazer (Short notice, Sans wings) anyway to try and support his Buddys Family. Long story short, CP finds him in the crowd, tells him he is out of uniform (in front of everyone including non-Company pilots), then proceeds to procure a set of Capt's wings and insist on a public "winging" (so much for honoring a fallen Crewmate) for the "out of uniform" F/O. At the end of the "Winging".....LOL ....said F/O is STILL out of uniform as the CP insisted on pinning Capt's wings on him. (You can't make this Sh"t up folks). Quote of the day?....CP.... "It was the best solution Available"......Hmmmm.....Out of uniform to......out of uniform........Just Culture my Patootie.
You have got to be ****tin me! Poor judgement.....not surprising.

I entered and departed GDL a few years as an operating crew member wearing khakis, a polo and Top Siders.

Wait... If I eat pork chops, can't run and my cholesterol is 300, do I wear the hat? If I put the pork chop in tinfoil on my head, does that count? Should I hang the pork chop from my ALPA lanyard? Do I attach it with the pin?

I'm confused
