Company is dragging feet on many fronts ... probably one of the biggest issues is the uncertain number of mass retirements (300-400 or more) once a contract is complete.
This gets them through Peak 2014 and well into 2015 with eager beavers waiting for payday -- without losing a significant percentage of the seniority list.
As an aside -- not sure why we would not wear our lanyards for info picketing?
Is CONTRACT NOW not clear enough?
Unclip the ID and stick it in your pocket for pete's sake if worried.
On a personal level, I cannot even begin to quantify how disappointed I am in this entire debacle of negotiations.
Time and effort are appreciated but results MATTER.
Mismanagement of the entire process is as nice as I can put it.
The current model is BROKEN and should be shelved forever.

I agree 100%. A great time to make sure everyone has their lanyards. The Officers should be walking around offering up new lanyards to those that have "forgotten" theirs. Time to stand together, united and uniform.
