Let's all collectively breathe in a sigh of relief....Ask any passenger guy who he feels about 117.

Some of us have been doing this for a while, and still have a long way to go. They just don't like the changes that AFPC is going to make CBPO do to you while TDY, because of the AFR (AFI). So go to the BX and flash that grey ID and get a grip on yourself.
Gee I'm sorry you're so full of yourself that you don't realize certain acronyms appear in more places than the military. Get a grip on yourself, though you might not have time now that you won't be getting that extra 27 seconds of rest.

That's just not something that'll happen on that flight, not everything is Purple or Brown.

I'm not, but I would.

You're profoundly dumb if you think 117 has that great an effect on "safety".

Spot on, brother. Doing military charters in Europe and The ME. Two flights a month, and lots of long layovers. Part 117 rules, but don't tell the other guys at 5Y. Be even better if we had better rig.

I'm assuming "we" is people who think I'd give up my QOL to make some point on their behalf. Please don't mind the laughing.

DLax85 and others.

Please do not feed this troll. This guy gleefully wishes for the demise of others on this board to better himself. I stopped responding a year ago.

My situation has changed from freight to pax in the last year but those nights of abuse are still fresh. I for one am appalled but not surprised by the FAA's statement. This is what we get when a Government Agency has a dual mission

I think what the IPA is doing is right and just and have said so in past threads. There should be a way to donate to their/our cause they are fighting. I'd step up. What about the rest of us??

Your comments are pretty myopic. I, MY, ME. I gather you consider the concept of "we" quaint.

When rules are enacted they should be a benefit to the group AS A WHOLE. Not just to the work schedule YOU can hold. These new rules don't benefit every single line but they aren't meant to. They are meant to prevent management from scheduling those dangerous lines they just can't stop themselves from making.

You'll never volunteer for union work because you don't see anything in it for yourself or because you judge those putting in so many hours for no extra pay to be fools.

Thanks for the input. We get it.
