I have known the CP for 25 years and he's a great guy to work for, a pilot's pilot, a good friend, and definitely in your corner when a problem.

Depends what you're working

IWA and SAT you will be going to Mexico and Central America on a daily basis.

Mia you'll go to Cuba and the Bahamas

All the other bases are dependent on the teams or where they need you at he moment. With the hockey teams you'll definitely go to Canada a lot.

You're on for 20 days how you make that combination with scheduling is between you and them. Some do the whole 20 in one shot.

So 40/20s are a "normal", or they can't be hoped/expected? I'm looking for a job with a schedule like that. Also, are you on the road the whole time or they sit you in domicile a lot?

I think the big thing is as far as payroll sees you worked 20 days in the month. I guess you could do 40 if you wanted.

Depends on why base you're in. MIA SAT and IWA are mostly day trips so chances of being back in base every night are high there.

Doing VIP it can vary but usually you might end up doing more than one team at a time during your rotation. It's a very changing schedule, if a plane breaks you might be called to rescue another flight. Or we also go do pop up charters like when eastern breaks down.

Last I remember the only
Major we have an agreement with is AA. I believe we have spirit, f9, atlas, ups and many regionals. However hard to get the regionals if they're in DL or UAs network. Our JS guy is working hard on these, DL is the most difficult airline to get an agreement with. Hopefully we solidify southwest soon.

Sounds like they're trying but that people might also be struggling to get to work? Buying tickets to get to base??
