Yes... People would do that but that isn't reality. Even in your scenario, I'd do it, but as soon as UPS or FedEx called I'd leave because even that wouldn't be competitive. By the time you'd see that kind of money at Atlas you'd have already done severe damage to yourself financially.

It took 14 days from the time I completed the online assessment to the time Atlas HR left a voicemail on my phone inquiring about my resume. I was hired in 2017.

Should be a matter of days or up to a few weeks at most. They are trying to hire 2 to 3 classes per month for the next year. That is a minimum of 32 pilots per month and up to 62 pilots per month. Depending on the breakdown between 747 and 767 classes

Of course they will just cause another ridiculous backlog if the hire more than 32 per month. But they never seem to care

They are starting to have trouble filling the classes. In addition 1 or 2 people per class don't show or quit during training

Only going to get worse!

Only going to get worse!

The last class began with 8 unfilled slots. Two more have left for the majors since the class began two weeks ago.

Skip the test. Our contract sucks, and it is going to be a long, long time until it gets better!

Do yourself and your family a huge favor and apply at Kalitta. Higher pay, QOL and a happy pilot group.

Why be miserable at Atlas when you can be happy at Kalitta?
