CommutAir Rumors and Info

Haha.
Baseless? I would hardly count 14 months of employment and personal experience at the company baseless. I deleted it because you can’t argue with people when everything just falls on deaf ears and they live in a Kool-Aid drinking world.
The problems at CommutAir are too long to list here. Have there been improvements? Yes, absolutely. Would recommend anybody to go to the airline? No, absolutely not.
I truly feel sad for the individuals who come to CommutAir as their first part 121 experience. Anybody that has worked at other 121 operators can understand why I say that.

People who came here chasing a quick upgrade with a fleet of airplanes to be parked took a big gamble and some lost. It'd be a foolish move, I think, to leave for ANOTHER regional now, investing more time and uncertainty on upgrades when they'll more than likely be in the left seat soon here. Things change overnight in this industry, it was all sunshine and rainbows in upgrade land until they decided to park the dashes. Now with attrition hey will be in need again sooner than later.

You're right, things have improved and are still. This will definitely not be a top tier regional anytime soon, but things are getting better.

Well what do you suggest, only get info from recruiters? Word of mouth from fellow pilots carries a lot more weight. Show me one public statement from CommutAir that discloses that they are downgrading. Without APC people wouldn't even know about it until they got here and it was too late.
You must be a recruiter. Sorry your job has been tough lately.

What a joke. You are definitely a recruiter or management. Nothing has improved except a bit of pay protection for our downgrades and lack of upgrades. Meaning they are paying a few pennies to make up for our pilots' halted career progression. But keep on selling those pipe dreams. People are leaving in droves and outsiders know to stay far away.

Man you are daft, you're the one who said things are improving before I did. Do you proofread your work? I'm clearly not management because they don't spend time listening to us, especially what's said on here. I can state as fact that there are 10 new hires this month, so people aren't "staying away" (the quotation marks mean you said that).
What else do you know tater?

Methinks you are confused.

I see now where it says that, and where it lists the complete nonsense that should never be included in one’s earnings. However, if you scroll down the page it also says “Year One earn $74,000, Two-Year cumulative $140,000”.

I am anything but a recruiter, people come here looking for some info. If all they see is you and potato's opinion they'd be pretty warped. Two sides to every argument my friend, it's all about perspective. I didn't come here chasing an upgrade, I will not leave here to do it, that's where people are getting ****ed.

Agreed, no reason to come here for an upgrade. There is also no other reason to choose CommutAir over Endeavor, Republic, Air Wisconsin, PSA, Envoy, or PDT if you live on the east coast. CommutAir falls behind them in almost every category. If you disagree, please explain.

Everybody has there reasons for ending up where they do. When I came here only republic and express paid more, and they weren't viable options. Now that I'm here I have no reason to jump around to another regional. This place is not wrong for everyone, in fact right now may be an excellent time to come if growth and airplanes come as forecast. The displacements were inevitable with the dashes going away, and we have to deal with it.
It’s funny that in one breath you tell people that they should have done their homework before coming here and shouldn’t be surprised they got downgraded… And in the other breath you tell them it’s a great time to come here with the Forecasted growth. The forecasted growth means absolutely nothing if they cannot staff the airplanes.
