My personal opinion is it was the UA flying and Mesa’s current 175’s. Then Mesa some how pulled off a 4th quarter hail marry.. Thats the only senerio that fits there “announcement” time line...

Unfortunately the timeline fits, I'll give ya that. Management's response is "The United and Mesa deal has nothing to do with the Compass go forward plan,". Could be smoke, could be the "truth". No one knows.

Could be that too lol.
One things for sure is morale must be at an all time low. Head to head with another CPZ flight today in a southwestern US airport that isn't a CPZ base. CA and I double wave, other crew stares, looks away and continues to stare. Heartbroken, shocked, and disappointed we were.

There are rumors of 190's, but all accounts indicate they would be mainline.
Also if AS really wanted 190's at a regional it would be QX, no need to add additional management overhead with a third regional.
I'd work on your apps rather than hold out hope for AS flying.

Not unless they want a full mutiny and mass exodus of mainline FO's. They are negotiating that scope as we speak.

Agree on all statements. Just stirring the pot frankly because I have nothing better to do, and it keeps getting brought up via JS’ers and no one including me has any idea where it’s coming from. I sincerely hope they are able to negotiate scope for the betterment of everyone.
