Obviously this thread has shifted towards a "Mesaba is better than Compass" propaganda...let's get back to the original direction of the thread...informing new potential applicants of Compass Airlines. Who gives a hoot about Mesaba right now...I'm sure there are plenty of threads you can debate about Mesaba...don't do it here...please.

Once you go back to MSP after the 30 days you start getting you min guarantee. You dont per diem for the week in MSP because you are consider to be "in base" Everyone is based in MSP during training then you bid for what you could hold after that. So because you are based in MSP and will be there for a week "in base" you dont get a hotel room and you dont get per diem becasue you are still in base. Once you leave MSP for Montreal you get per diem for 30 to 40 day along with you monthly min

I could be wrong but last I heard there isn't a contract to sign...just the wording in the ALPA contract. This doesn't become effective until after the training in YUL though. So I guess if your wondering about leaving during training I guess you'd be free to go.....don't know where one goes these days though. Even Eagle is shutting the gates

Oh I guess it isn't much news but our yearly raise starts June 1st....not much but everything helps. This makes first / second year pay

CA 61.47 / 63.50
FO 23.59 / 34.27
