Yeah, kind of excited about the prospects of getting onto my private jet at Swift Aviation FBO in PHX rather than going thru the TSA gauntlet 4+ times a month! They're using PHX as a walk on/walk off base.. cool idea.

Good day all...
Have been a long time lurker of apc!
Finally decided to sign up, considering I need some help of all
you all so helpful pilots at Compass

I've been trying to get on with Compass, yes, my first airline Im applying to...
I have applied and have been in contact with a Ms. Laura Fleming.
She left a voice message and asked to call back but haven't yet...
Reason why I have not is because I'm not sure if I should bother.
I do meet ATP minimums, however I am 21.
Appearantly, with Compass, you end up with an ATP and have to be 23.

Whats your advice?
Has anyone been hired before under 23?
I know they've been pretty strict with hiring below 1500TT so how is
that with hiring below 23?
H.E.L.P!!

I do realize all the risks with the flowback and everything..
but It's a risk I'm willing to take.

Any advice and help is definitely welcome!

And for those wondering,
Current stats
1500TT/1050ME
also have 800 hours jet time (400xp)

Why dont you call her back and ask her? The other person who might know the answer is Lisa Costa, she runs the HR and hiring. They'll probably be able to give you a better answer than any of us.

If you are only 21 you don't meet the minimums. There are 7 pilots who were hired below ATP minimums. There is an LOA dealing with that. All new hires must be eligible for an ATP.

Can you hold a "frozen" ATP and not exercise the rights of it until the age of 23? You might call a the feds about that.

Do you happen to have a number or email for her?

Is that a specific reason why they want ATP eligibility other than the fact that they want to give u an ATP, when you don't need it, with a signed agreement?
What happened to the ones that were hired below ATP minimums?
