that appears to be substantially higher than either company's current rates.

I agree, the Captain rates are a little low but the FO rates look good. Those planes should be on the mainline ticket with higher pay rates.

Your standards are too low.

How so? Where does that leave the rates that are used now then?

What the particular rates are is not even nearly important as re-capturing airplanes at mainline.

Step one would be getting them back to mainline. Step two later on would be getting a better payrate. But getting them back to mainline would be the most difficult part.

I could see it happening, however, gas would have to go so high that the CRJ's have to be parked. When there aren't any CRJ's flying then it can be negotiated back.

Too low. NWA pilots set our current rates by the way.

I agree. I would love to see that happen but I don't think that's likely. I am certainly not going to count on it. I am going to try to get hired by a major off the street than to wait for the stapling to happen at NWA/DAL.

the Ford- Harrison comment was May 2007. The FAA reauth bill has still not passed. however in conjunction with the age 65 rule, mohawk- allegheney became law in Dec 2007. I have posted this proviso in the the threads relating to skyw and xjt when a deal was in the works but no one picked up on it or acknowledged it.
