Saw the updated training plan today. Calls for ~180 new hires and ~130 upgrades by next May.

I interviewed in the middle of October last year. Originally #62ish in the pool. Got a call today for end of August class date. I think they had an original pool of around 110. Interviews to start back up next month.

So 20 or so from the pool went through training last winter, so that gets it to about 30-40 deep since then. So if they are running 4-6 a week then I would figure about half the guys in the pool so far have declined. They will drain the pool very fast, if anyone is trying to get on at Compass now is the time to get in your app and get an interview

Lots of interesting things happening at TSA right now. Manuals being rewritten and restructured, changes to training programs....very interesting. Also have heard a lot of things Compass has been doing on its own are moving into TSA holdings in St Louis, and have heard the Compass SOC will be moving to St Louis in the future.
Could be nothing. Could be something. But all of this stuff is very peculiar to say the least.
