Nothing will happen until all the flows are exhausted, way too much of a training bubble to train those replacements as well as TSA pilots. I've read CP is planning 170 new hires and 130 upgrades just from this batch of 115 flows. Throw in trying to train TSA pilots... Hulas would never take on those expenses simultaniously.

Don't forget CP's low longevity. Why would he kill off the one thing that keeps them competitive? Add in TSA's senior pilots and that goes bye bye. After these flows I believe CP will be down to 4 years for highest longevity besides a couple flow bypass guys.

As long as CP pilots get the upgrade slots vacated by the flow attrition go ahead and merge

I fully expect our HQ to move when the lease is up. I don't expect a merged pilot list. A merger of two wholly owned companies isn't nearly as expensive as mergeing two completely independent companies.

One problem looming for TSA is the hole on the Seniority list from 2008-2012. Once the 2008 guys upgrade, there is no one on the list until 2012. There are rumors of street captains this winter once the hiring at all the majors ramps up.
