I wonder if he'll proofread the emails he sends to the entire company when he gets to AMF.

Thx

So changing the topic a bit: the latest bid is showing the most junior Captain starting class on July 1st with the late November 2014 hire date. It makes it 7 months then (if you count from the new hire class to the upgrade class date). It will get even lower but no street Captains in my opinion any time soon...

Just got the e-mail to contact Compass for an interview, I got 5500TT and 1700 121 time, would it be unrealistic to think upgrade 1yr or less with a LAX base (dependent of the senior FO's getting their 1000 121 time).

What are they looking at for individuals to upgrade? just the 1000 121 time or recommendations or both?

Also assuming a possible interview mid June, how is the training pipeline? Backed up? Could a new hire expect a quick start date, couple weeks, months???

Thx again

Hopefully the rumor of loosing our ZED'S is just that. AA can keep their benefits if I am going to loose zeds. Pay to upgrade and sit at #46 on the standby list, no thank you.

Agree 100%. I get way more use out of ZEDS than I ever will from a benefits.

I had a 32 hour overnight in GEG (arrived before midnight the first night) so there was a complete day off. FLICA is not showing the 4 hour credit for the day off there. I'm really confused about how it all works, but wouldn't the credit be there by now?
You won't see anything in relation to the 4hrs of pay and credit until July. The trips with 30hr overnights should be loaded with the additional credit when the bid packet comes out. But, we'll see about that.

The benefits for the "New AA" haven't been figured out yet. Per previous conference calls, these are the the old AA benefits. When the merger dust settles, they will have a different Pass travel system and policy. Right now, pre-merger US feed (air Wisconsin for example) has different benefits than pre-merger AA feeders (CP, Skywest, XJT).
What compass is getting soon was estimated to change by end of the year.
