I'm just amazed the level of vitriol from pilots who don't like when someone states those realities. It just comes off that they want to silence the truth and they hate anyone that won't shut-up when they tell them to.

404yxl waking up every morning and realizing he and no one else can do ANYTHING about the ADTG thing.

Seriously...give it up. It's not as earth shattering as you say it is and the fact that you think new hires need to make this a priority in their decision is ludicrous. Airlines have been doing 4 hour min day for a really long time. You must not have been here before the most recent contract.
Sooooo....enough already! How about getting involved in ALPA and making real changes instead of coming on here to betch about a dead in the water topic.

50 seat jets have been said to be on the way out "right around the corner" for long time. A buddy of mine at endeavor said they are now pulling 200's from the desert, and Delta extended RAH contract on the 50 seaters. So weird... It seems it is more likely the 200's will all time out before they are not wanted anymore. And I ain't worried bout 200s being parked, it isn't a denial thing for me, new planes will replace the old ones and I'm okay with that.

I know I'm beating a dead horse here but as long as we are educating new hires, let's not leave out the part where we're better off without ADTG. I have 2 calendar day overnights at hotels this month that I am not getting pay or credit for. That's 2 days of my life and 8 hrs. of pay down the drain. Another month I had 4 of those. When do we switch from ADTG anyway? Next month? Can't be soon enough.

Next month. That's the reason for the noticible reduction in trip productivity for June.

I see a lot of lines with 11-12 days off. Ouch. Lot of guys went from working 15-17 days for 85 hours to working 18 or 19 days for 85 hours.

At the end of the day, this is what the vocal minority wanted. They managed to sway the entire pilot group into voting a trip rig out. You reap what you sow.

Why? It's a compass issue? A past issue but a compass issue.

"Compss Updates"
ADTG is NOT an update. It's old news and nothing has changed.

Next month, you mean june? So i have 2 30 hr overnights next month but i dont see 4 hours extra credit for the 30 hour overnights. The trip's credit is almost identical to the block actually. Will it be added somewhere else on the settlement check data or am i missing something??

Because as I understand it (correct me if I'm wrong) you only get the 4 hour credit on days in which there is a duty period. So if those 30 hour overnight days off don't have a duty period in them... the 4 hour credit does NOT apply. Meaning, you will get paid 0 hours for that day off in the middle of your pairing.

Maybe this was the piece of information that was being missed when voting out ADTG?
