Compass updates

Also - Alaskabound, if you think the MEC would entertain jeopardizing any portion of the Flow LOA, you're nuts. All 3 current members have flow rights, so they understand the gravity of the situation. This is people's careers we're talking about here, not a contract provision such as hiring mins.
Status quo will remain (no changes to flow), complete with 90-day holdbacks, and the remaining guys will go in 2015. Nothing more, nothing less.

I agree.
About the only thing that would get Compass ALPA to allow longer than 90 day holdbacks, is if they were to agree to letting an additional 50 or 100 flow. Well, we all know DAL, and Compass MGT don't want that to happen at all.
But if that is what the other 3 parties want (which they won't), I'm sure ALPA is willing to negotiate for the right price. If it came to the scenario above, at least all the flow guys would still have their number at Delta, and get to enjoy better schedules at CP while spending less time on 1st year probationary pay at Delta....and of course, more people could flow at a later date after CP has gotten their staffing numbers up.
Looking at the stance of the 4 parties involved in the flow agreement
DAL MGT = Wants no more flow
DAL MEC = I have no idea what they want, they probably don't like the flow though
CP MGT = Probably likes the flow in small numbers only (keeps the list more junior). Does want to limit the flows in 2015 though.
CP ALPA = Wants to protect the rights of the current flow pilots, as well as look out for the rest of the CP pilots career progression opportunities.
I don't really see how any of these positions can come together to make an amendment to the current agreement.
As far as CP ALPA, they may be willing to sign certain LOA's without their pilot's input, but I highly doubt they would do anything to get in the way of our flow agreement, unless it was to our benefit.

Delta and CPZ Flight ops are the only two signatures there.

This is correct.

Exactly. Plus DL isn't crazy about 9 months of probation. There is no way they would eliminate it altogether with a 12 month holdback. If anything changes, it could be DL giving CPZ more notice when exactly planned hiring will occur, although that may be a moo point if it continues indefinately. Everyone knew the current round was coming, but no one knew exactly when until the last second. Going forward CPZ should know a year in advance when ppl will get flow letters. 20 a month starting in January 2015 until the cap is reached, repeat again in January 2016, etc. Pretty simple from here on out.

Alright. A little late to the party, but I ave talked to a few guys already about getting on board with Compass. I really like what they have going on there and believe it would be a good fit for me. Any hints/tips/ideas on getting the hat in the ring. AirlineApps is constantly updated. ATP Written is completed. 4 year degree in Biology. 1650 TT. 600+ ME. 500+ turbine. Currently flying corporate Part 135 in a Citation. Cant seem to get the call...
Have been interviewed and offered by another airlines of TSH, but really like Compass. Any help is appreciated...

Put your resume directly in the hands of a recruiter, attending a job fair would be my recommendation.

I have an interview with Compass this coming week. Also it seems that Compass is now starting to hire RATP qualified pilots (as that's what I am) Any last minute advice?
I've been reading all the gouges online at sites like willflyforfood and aviationinterviews.com
Honestly, I'm stressing about the computer knowledge test (I'm a flight instructor with no turbine experience). I have been reading everything explained for the professional pilot, and the turbine pilot's flight manual, as well as practicing the delta test sheppard air questions. I just want to pass the battery of tests and get my chance at the panel interview so I can explain why I want to be a part of the Compass team.
Any advice or words of wisdom are greatly appreciated!
