First of all, the Flow Agreement is an LOA that is actually part of Delta's ratified PWA. Second, there is really no motivation to cancel the flow LOA by any of the parties that are involved. There's only about 150 pilots who have not received a flow letter.

Just playing devil's advocate here. I'm not saying or hoping any of this happens.

I'd imagine that TSH would go to Delta and say they needed to hold back pilots even longer. Delta is having no issues hiring so it wouldn't be an issue to them. They inherited this flow so it's not like they are hell bent on keeping it as-is and who's to say they wouldn't be flexible on the terms?

About the only thing that would get Compass ALPA to allow longer than 90 day holdbacks, is if they were to agree to letting an additional 50 or 100 flow. Well, we all know DAL, and Compass MGT don't want that to happen at all.
But if that is what the other 3 parties want (which they won't), I'm sure ALPA is willing to negotiate for the right price. If it came to the scenario above, at least all the flow guys would still have their number at Delta, and get to enjoy better schedules at CP while spending less time on 1st year probationary pay at Delta....and of course, more people could flow at a later date after CP has gotten their staffing numbers up.
Looking at the stance of the 4 parties involved in the flow agreement
DAL MGT = Wants no more flow
DAL MEC = I have no idea what they want, they probably don't like the flow though
CP MGT = Probably likes the flow in small numbers only (keeps the list more junior). Does want to limit the flows in 2015 though.
CP ALPA = Wants to protect the rights of the current flow pilots, as well as look out for the rest of the CP pilots career progression opportunities.
I don't really see how any of these positions can come together to make an amendment to the current agreement.
As far as CP ALPA, they may be willing to sign certain LOA's without their pilot's input, but I highly doubt they would do anything to get in the way of our flow agreement, unless it was to our benefit.

Alright. A little late to the party, but I ave talked to a few guys already about getting on board with Compass. I really like what they have going on there and believe it would be a good fit for me. Any hints/tips/ideas on getting the hat in the ring. AirlineApps is constantly updated. ATP Written is completed. 4 year degree in Biology. 1650 TT. 600+ ME. 500+ turbine. Currently flying corporate Part 135 in a Citation. Cant seem to get the call...
Have been interviewed and offered by another airlines of TSH, but really like Compass. Any help is appreciated...

Everyone also seems to be forgetting that a flow pilot's seniority and longevity start on their originally assigned class date. I don't think DAL has any desire to let new guys that haven't even started yet accrue any more seniority or longevity then they would have to. Think about, if the flow was moved to a year then every flow would get to start at Delta with second year pay and 500+ pilots junior to them. That's way too good of a deal for anyone to agree to (besides the CPZ MEC). On the other hand the CPZ MEC will not modify the language because current guys want to get out of the TSH rodeo and non flow ALPA guys want people senior to them to get out ASAP.
Why people think that there is any chance that any of this will change is beyond me.
