The AA benefits for non-wholly owned are terrible... its fee based per segment and there's a very convoluted listing process. Also, only those assigned to the AA flying will get the benefits (LAX base), not the entire company. Parent's also are not included. This may change as they re-align their pass policies with US, but right now they suck. It's also worth noting how they staff these airplanes... if Delta catches wind that there are AA dedicated crews (which there aren't likely to be), they will also lose their DL benefits.

What do they typically get?

I just want access to their flight loads, as a DFW commute with practically all AA flights this would make my life much easier.

You don't even get that. Just a smiley/frown face from what I remember. The interface is horrid.

Well considering CPZ is starting 4x DFW-lax for DL, I'd say your commute is about to get a whole lot easier come 11/1...

No, it is DFW for sure. Virgin American got those extra Dallas LOVE slots.

yup, and you still go below buddies of American or Envoy employees. Coach is now free, pay for First.

The ONLY benefit I can think of right now for the AA flight benefits we will be receiving, is your spouse will not now have the ability to fly for free in Coach on AA. It will be bottom of the list priority, but I guess it is better than them having to pay for the ZED fare. We already have access to the smiley face system, and with our 'new benefits' on AA, we still go at the same priority we did before.

Also, speaking of ZED, those might go away for Compass for a while

Without reading all 4000+ posts, I suspect that my questions have been addressed at some point, but if someone could briefly humor me with some insight on a couple questions, I would be much appreciative...

- Is Compass not hiring pilots with restricted ATP qualifications? The Compass hiring page says the following: "In possession of, or eligible to hold, an unrestricted US multi-engine ATP certificate."

I'm building time quickly towards ATP mins, however I don't expect to reach the 500 hours of cross country for the unrestricted ATP. 200+ hrs cross country for the restricted will be no problem for me.

- Skimming through the last few pages, I'm not sure if I've read comments correctly, but is LAX going to be a junior/easily attainable base for new hires? I live in PHX and would love to be close to home if Compass were in the cards for me.

Thanks for the replies.

Not might, will. They were taking advantage of the Delta negotiated interline agreements which will be taken away since Compass will no longer be exclusive DLC.
