If a new hire has sims in MSP and groundschool, about how many hotels/nights should one expect to pay for?

Default lodging in MSP

For all the new hires or others looking for MSP lodging..

Look into Flagship Rentals.. my class is renting a 7 bedroom house on a lake.. really nice and works well for studying. For 7 of us its around $17 a night, everything included. Its in Woodbury, about 20-30 minutes from Pan AM, will need a car.. they have about 4-5 houses in the MSP area and Bill, the owner is now aware of Compass Pilots and will work with us..

Most classes are spending first 4 weeks in MSP, then 2 weeks in either STL or DFW and then about a week back in MSP.

They can use the sim off motion in lieu of an IPT. It's a possibility. I did my ground based lofts in the sim (motion off)

Is CZ shrinking it's MSP hub? I heard that as MSP pilots flow or bid out and move on elsewhere, that they aren't back filling those slots. She made it sound like MSP CZ base was slowly being phased out.

Last I heard it is supposed to be 80 in each seat. It has shrunk from about 150 in each seat.

With the way DCI is scheduled who knows how long CPZ will be out west. AS Delta gets more 717's out west DCI, I'd guess DCI carriers will shift some more.
