The CA side is just fine?
Why is everybody so nervous? Everything is under control... they are being cheap about it, but they've done this before and know what they are doing.
Every year there has been flows, there have been hold backs - its SOP! It doesn't mean the house is falling down.
There are reserve green days for LAX FOs, we are overstaffed if anything.
The CA side is just fine too. So they have to offer some critical pay every once in a while - it's cheaper than running an upgrade class in September or October and having to pay for it. Since they waited, their mainline partner pays for the training.
As far as SLIP instructors, they all love working doubles and getting PAID!
Nobody should lose sleep over this.

I don't want to work 95 hrs a month, but every single bid cycle thats what I get. I have never seen a green day on the captain side and things are just fine? Gimme a break dude.

New hires are having their training drawn out because of the lack of instructors, not sims. Some groups have almost an entire month off after sims in STL. TSH cant be saving any money paying guys to sit at home. I'm sure many will need sim refreshers too, further overloading and postponing the training dept.

Hey guys, looks like we're not getting hard cases. So I just went to BestBuy and found one on sale for 59.99. Pretty good deal I think to protect the ipad. Also offered to pay for the iPad but the company still wants to provide it at no cost to the pilots. Oh well. Would have been nice to not have to worry about paying 600 dollars incase I broke it. But I guess that's why I bought the case.

Also in case you have never heard of a little website called Amazon, you can find hard shell cases for much cheaper than $60 on there

Sup guys,
Been browsing the past few pages trying to get the low down. A few buddies and myself were considering a move to Compass, not really sure if its worth it though. Wanted to get some general info, have an offer to interview and a current Envoy driver. Just getting progressively worse here, have about 4 years in also a guard guy so I'm occasionally out on mil leave.
Wanted to see how the QOL is, reserve times, junior bases etc. I'm not one of those guys chasing an upgrade, just need to go somewhere better than where I'm at. Also not a corporate fan either, just can't do it. Was going to go to Allegiant, but turns out that isn't worth it at all.
