That is the normal MTOW for the 175. It's a scope thing. The Delta birds had their takeoff weights increased back in the NWA days. They paid some money and got a new piece of paper with the higher weight on it. The thirty-six 175s Compass has for Delta are the highest MTOW regional aircraft in the country.

Once holding a line, what is the maximum hours you can pick up for a month and is there a minimum hours you have to keep if you're trying to give trips away?

If you flew your butt off you could get 1000 in a year. Get experience in the plane, get experience in the crew environment, get experience with the operations, get experience in the environments we fly in, really concentrate on what you're seeing as an FO and what will make you a better captain because upgrade will happen fast. Don't put the cart before the horse. Do everything you can to prepare yourself to be a good captain then worry about when you can upgrade.

Im at a regional and about 500 sic time. Been here for a year and few months. Kinda getting tired of reserve now. But anyway, i will be moving to DC area next year in January. So i would either commute or join Air Wisconsin.
I have a job interview offer from Compass And have been thinking about it. Wanted to know how senior or junior MSP is and would it remain a base in forseeable future? And how easy is DC to MSP commute? Is it easy to get MSP based out of training? DTW is not a base any more if I am correct. LAX and SEA would be uncommutable!
Also, what would be approx net pay during training? An Estimated guess? Including the CBT at home?
Thank you.

I have a job interview offer from Compass And have been thinking about it. Wanted to know how senior or junior MSP is and would it remain a base in forseeable future? People are holding it out of training right now. It will remain a base and company says it will not shrink. And how easy is DC to MSP commute? Best website is Passrider Interline Travel Information ? Interline Travel and Pass Travel Information you can find all available commute options. Is it easy to get MSP based out of training? Yes, it's happening now. DTW is not a base any more if I am correct. Correct. LAX and SEA would be uncommutable! Again, check passrider, maybe more options than you think...but long for sure!
Also, what would be approx net pay during training? You get like 18.5 hours for the 2 week at-home CBT's, then you get 75 hours gurantee once you show up for ground school. Year one pay is $25 and some change. If you get sim's in DFW or STL, then you get per diem there as well. An Estimated guess? Including the CBT at home? Don't have my calculator handy...
Thank you.

Are the Compass E175s equipped with HUDs?

No HUD, but they do have the optional Headroom Limiting Device. (HUD enclosure)

I found the training at Compass to be very good. Instructors and examiners are excellent. I've only just started flying the 175 but I love it and much better than the 145 I did three years on.
You'll hold MSP before you're out of training. I had an instructor who commuted from DC to MSP but didn't ask how that commute is.
