LOFTs and LOE are in MSP. STL is the predominate sim training location. And just a few new hires get DFW. But DFW is sparse and seems this summer it has gotten few and far between.

I believe it's explained in the fine print on the Compass website, but if I remember the details correctly, it is paid over three installments over the first year, with the 1st payment being at completion of IOE.

20k for new hires only when the 10k bonus for new hires isn't enough. There will be a cutoff date for that one just like this one and those hired before it will probably be upset they are paid less than a pilot hired after them. This will continue as long as TSH can afford it or they are able to get their mainline partners to pay them more. The bonus will only be offered to attract new hires as long as they can get away with it without negotiating something with the union.

The Endeavor program is a minimum of what we should ask for, for allowing the company to offer new hires more. They need the relief and are trying to go around the pilot group's CBA. If they want to offer 10k to new hires, then all pilots get 10k/year for every year it is offered.

I interviewed before it was announced, was offered a position and chose the earliest class date they had available. That day was July 16th...that sure is some luck. It sure would have made this first year a little more affordable. I don't even know what I'm going to be doing for luggage until I get a sizable enough paycheck!

Wait, Compass doesn't have the 12 month training contract anymore?

Good to know, thanks!
I've been reading that Delta as a result of the rejected TA, is going to excercise 175 options apparently 30 of them. This is obviously pure speculation at this point, and most likely a negotiation tactic but have there been any rumblings at Compass? I know you guys are crazy busy as it is...but I have to ask.

I wonder if 30 more planes would push them towards DEC offerings...hmm. Optimistic assumptions at best I suppose.
