But maybe it will stop those that can't get a call from delta from jumping to the first LCC they get.

Yea they'll raise the FO pay to the max allowed by the LOA...anything above that or in addition would have to be negotiated

Shouldn't take much but we should use the leverage to get a little bump for CA's as well, ....and work rule improvements that affect everybody ...like maybe an immediate start to the 100% DH, 200% crit/jr man pay, a cap on how often the floor can be raised, a 4.5:1 TAFB trip rig, $1.95/hr per diem, 4:45 min day, CDOs pay 2x min day, no more airport ready and reserves can always get a same day hotel request honored... Did I miss anything? What's that, why do I have to go take a drug test...

you are just missed one thing, whenever "except for operational need" appears in the contract, it needs to be taken out!!!

That won't happen but it could be nailed down more what exactly constitutes an "operational need" and have some kind of consequence when they invoke that clause to address what led to the shortage etc.

Which is the part that concerns me. ALPA has said nothing about upping first year pay. So either they are working on it quietly, or it's just a rumor.

Of course I would love to believe that first year pay will go above $41, but I am thinking it won't happen by the end of August. My guess is $41/ hour by end of August, then anything more will come later.

Weekendsoff was right about PHX, but we have all been guessing that would be announced. I've been saying pay needs to go up, and before VIRotate said upper 40s to low 50s from flying with JS, I did say $49/ hour at least to keep Compass competitve. Which if it does go up to, will fix the problem.

Hmm funny that I estimated an amount which supposedly JS said he's aiming for.

How are we supposed to vacancy bid today without FLICA? Will it be another goofy microsoft office form?
