I said it awhile back and kept quiet because of the **** storm of attention it garnered, but during the appreciation picnic in lax mw told me to my face that the ink was still drying on a flow with HA. I asked "an interview"? "No a flow"

I just don't get it. Who is this going to attract? I know we hired a couple hand fulls of mokulele pilots, but who elsw would be interested in this flow? I'm sure not going to commute 3 hours to LA then 5 hours to the islands. I don't think I've spoken to anyone who would take this flow. There has to be someone out there...
I feel like it's going to attract a lot of people. It's a flow to a legacy carrier in the end. It offers something no one else can offer besides the wholly owned American carriers.

Absolutely no way a HAL flow will ever happen. #1 HAL is very concerned about hiring people who will stay for life. #2 HAL is having no problem hiring and filling classes. #3 HAL already hiring everyone they want to from compass. #4 only people with a get a type rating and leave philosophy will take long enough to get hired by HAL to flow. #5 it's not gunna happen.
In conclusion HAL gains absolutely nothing from a flow, keep dreaming everybody. I will eat something much worse than a seasoned sock if this happens

You only have to refer 10 pilots a year to get the 10k an applicant bonus... better get started. Oh, especially since it's calendar year, so if anybody's excited about the $41/hr, tell them to wait til January.
