best way to attract new hires that your company desperately needs: trash your own company on a public forum that all qualified CFIs read. This forum sends more guys to OO than their recruiters do

The 175's are All growth for SkyWest side. Replacing XJT 700's

And somehow back to the SKW talk. Anyway.....

Thanks everyone for a great time at Compass. I'll miss y'all and wish the best to everyone there!

The attrition is only picking up and when I spoke to AOD he mentioned that he had done 5 exit interviews over just the last weekend. If new hires start flowing in the upgrades are gonna once again drop down to under year.

Great to know that you're moving on. Thanks for all your contributions here, and good luck! Where are you off to, if you feel comfortable posting it here?

Sorry but they expect an 18k bonus...their opinions are invalid. FAs are expendable and replaceable. It's sort of sad that they don't realize that and think they are valued as much as pilots.

Honestly, many DO realize the difference between being a peanut slinger and well...what we do. Usually, it's the older broads that can't acknowledge the disparity in specialized training fwd/aft of the cockpit door. #boomerentitlement. Rabble rabble rabble.

This is true, I'm afraid. It's kind of a douche move to point that out to them, though. They ARE an important part of the team, but the truth is if one quits I can find a replacement in about an hour at the local mall.

Yep, because doing so would invalidate their entire existences.

An FA only needs to last three months until the company breaks even on them. Not sure if that's exactly true, but sounds about right.
