150,000 Americans Dead

We've had mixed signals from day 1. Our Insubordinate-in-Chief has been undermining mitigation from the start, and it's had tragic consequences. Whether you personally feel like they've overreached isn't science, either.
The fact is that we're losing 2,000+ a day for the next 60 days and COVID is the leading cause of death in America. Rome is burning. Sorry grocery stores have one-way aisles. You'll have to suck it up.

Right now the Pres-elect is calling for 100 days of mask wearing:
Biden Says He’ll Ask All Americans to Wear Masks for 100 Days

Jordan FabianDecember 3, 2020, 2:54 PM PST Updated on December 3, 2020, 3:48 PM PSTPresident-elect Joe Biden said he would ask all Americans to wear a mask to prevent the spread of the coronavirus for the first 100 days of his administration as well as issue a “standing order” requiring face coverings in federal buildings and interstate transportation.
In an interview with CNN on Thursday, Biden also said that he had spoken to Dr. Anthony Fauci and asked him to stay on as the government’s top infectious disease expert.
I think you’d have a better chance of bringing back Prohibition.
And Fauci? He’s been in there since the Reagan administration. Since 1984. He’s long since spent his credibility.

Do you truly think that’s many people are going to do that? When three quarters of them won’t even cooperate with contact tracers who have contacted them individually?

What's your solution, Ex? Are you secretly a "herd immunity" guy? Do you want us to go back to normal with no mitigation? Just be sure to say your final goodbyes to Mom and Dad, because they probably won't make it through the winter -- but hey, the economy!
I don't get your point. You make these grand predictions about a policy that isn't even in place yet, expecting it to fail based on nothing but your own biases.
So.. do me a favor. No more copy paste. No more unrelated articles. Tell us all what you would do as Commander-in-Chief. You have the floor.

Right now the US is ~60% mask wearing compliance. If that boosts 20% with a campaign, we're more than half way to the 95% universal mask wearing target that has significant impact on the models. I called you a Gloomy Gus before, but it's more than that. You're looking for reasons for all this to fail. Why?

What I have said - REPEATEDLY - is that giving orders when you have neither the will nor the ability to enforce those orders UNDERMINES THE CREDIBILITY OF GOVERNMENT.
When politicians stop doing that I will stop criticizing them for doing that. And yes, the first thing I would do as commander-in-chief is stop giving knee jerk orders that I have neither the ability or the will to enforce.

In Florida, the 85+ group has the worst odds at 75% survival rate. The 75-84 crew fares a bit better at 88%. Getting to the 65-74 group we have a 95% survival rate. My parents are in the 55-64 group which has a 98.5% survival rate. These numbers exclude anyone who had the virus but was never tested.
People are far, far more likely to survive the disease than not. That’s an irrefutable fact.

Good grief, can we please STOP with this hyperbolic nonsense? There are currently no, nor have there ever been ANY age groups which have a higher likelihood of dying than surviving this disease.
