That's not demonization. That's a fact.
Dismiss it at your own career peril. I fly the rich and shameless. They'll keep flying regardless so it will be YOUR ox that is gored, not mine.

The woman is an open and ardent supporter of The Green New Deal. Legislation that would devastate the airline industry.

'Preciate the dire warning, but I'm good...
But seriously, what specific part of the Green New deal is going to "devastate" the airline industry as you say?
People are still gonna fly, no?
I think single pilot airline ops, and maybe even pilotless airliners pose a far greater threat to our career than your alarmist pronouncement.

“totally overhaul transportation by massively expanding electric vehicle manufacturing, build charging stations everywhere, build out high-speed rail at a scale where air travel stops becoming necessary, create affordable public transit available to all, with goal to replace every combustion-engine vehicle.”

Air travel is going to be quite necessary for a very, very long time, no need to freak out.

Nice deflection. You didn’t address the behavior of the Democrats during Trump’s term. I will also not be lectured about character, values and moral principles by a far left loon. Your party wants to systematically destroy this country on every level. Spare me your righteous indignation.

POTUS is not an athlete, nor actor, nor an entertainer.
As for his "excellent results"..
Sure, he's juiced up the economy, with tax cuts to corporations and the rich, and has spent like a "drunken sailor" sending the stock market to record breaking territory, but at what price? At some point, we'll have to pay the piper.

THIS. His tax cuts didn't end up increasing revenue at all while the budget remained the same.

In other words, we're going to have to pay back all those tax cuts, with interest, eventually.
He also bragged about not paying taxes by exploiting government loopholes that were either placed by accident or design, then he got elected, and rather than fixing the loopholes, he just continued to exploit them. I get that politicians are slimy, terrible people, but just because he was an outsider doesn't mean he was any better, and his policies reflect that.
Meanwhile, rather than reforming Obamacare so Americans have healthcare, he just gutted it with no replacement plan, and likely no intention of replacing it. What makes that really ****ed up, is that we rely on private insurance, which is fine, but private insurance is literally a pool of money that everyone chips into. It's literally more expensive socialized medicine with extra steps! By introducing this free-market, private entity into the mix, the market will drive them to do everything they can to deny payments while maximizing revenue. So if you lose your job, can't afford the $1k/month premium, or fall through the many cracks that are in the system by design to exploit the people who need insurance the most, you're now bankrupt. Obamacare wasn't perfect, but it was better than that. Watching people cheer the gutting of our healthcare was like the "Lisa needs braces" episode of the Simpsons: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BgqtBm_oUpc

Biden has his own issues with racism, women, and plagiarism. He stood by quietly while his supporters spit on and attacked police and tour apart family businesses (after months of this, he did finally speak out against it but only after it started effecting his polling numbers). That's just off the top of my head. I'm sure I could come up with more if I wanted to spend more time on it and there's plenty of info on it out there if you really are interested in it. You probably are not though.
As to your question as to how to explain to my kids some of Trumps despicable actions, I certainly don't hide or defend them. Neither of them are anyone I'd put up as role models. BTW, both my kids are old enough to google. One can vote.

I'm concerned that Trump's behavior, especially when he's caught red-handed, will lead to a generation of people thinking that it's ok to act like Eric Cartman when they don't get their way. Or that rank means you can do whatever you want, as long as you're a massive dick about it. Basically, his personality and attitude undermines everything I thought I knew about leadership and how you should treat people, and the fact he's POTUS seems to indicate that's ok. But if he's pushing your positions I can see where you could say he gets results and he could offer some great lessons in "don't be naïve about the world."

This is not one his actions I find despicable, as long as whatever methods he's using is legal. Everyone tries to pay as little taxes as possible.
