With email and online bill pay I haven't sent a letter in years. I don't look at junk mail and get all my bills electronically, so I don't know.

Here is a link to the PA department of State PDF on act 77. I will admit to being too lazy to read the entire act and trust that the official website from Pennsylvania has it right. If you think it's wrong take it up with them.

Please God can't the moderators turn off the ridiculous post delay?

That doesn’t specifically address when the ballot must be received by. The 8pm reference is for filling out the ballot but in the bottom section it mentions dropping it off in person. So you could fill out the ballot and drop it off without mailing it as long as it was relieved prior to 8pm. There must be another section of the law referencing receipt of the ballot and the time frame allotted.

Me either. But my memory is that the only "time" on the postmark is date. So if the rule is postmarked by 8pm on election day, the only way to know it was postmarked prior to 8pm on election day is to only take those that were postmarked on the date prior. Trump will love that one. ;-)

REALLY though, if the law is that it is to be received by election day, then being postmarked a day prior would be a reasonable expectation. If you're mailing same day, there's no way it's getting there on time. NONE. Even without USPS slowdowns.

Trump's been president, The Supreme Court has a Conservative majority, although John Robert's has been the spoiler to them, and Mitch McConnell rules the roost. I guess you could say Nancy has been somewhat of a spoiler... Lol

Progressive Democrats got hammered this election cycle, 2022 will be even worse. They will cost the Democrats the House if they keep it up.

Over the past 50 years, approximately 3% of ballots in Presidential election years are completed with ONLY the Presidential candidate selected. That percentage has held remarkably steady.

Of the “mail in” ballots returned in Pennsylvania this year, north of 15% had ONLY the Presidential candidate selected.

Hypothetical question. If you were going to fraudulently complete dead people’s ballots, gorked out nursing home patient’s ballots, stolen ballots, nutty Aunt Alice’s ballot, or any other illegally obtained ballots and were trying to systematically cheat, would you have the time resources to fully complete the ballot or just the one race you were most concerned about affecting?

Things that make you say “hmmmmmm”.

Pretty much what I did. President only. Can’t remember but I might have done that in the past.

I’m not a gorked out nursing home patient yet.

I do have a nursing home picked out ... Mindless Wonder nursing home.

Looks a bit like the guy in the F-150 that tried to run me off the interstate... only thing I could figure is that maybe he was offended by my anti-tRUMP bumper stickers and then there was my BIDEN sticker.

or ... it could have been that he didn’t like the color of my car. Can’t be sure.
