First eight years at Delta on the 88. Easiest plane I had ever flown. Now on the 765, so I amend my last. However, I would easily go back to the 88 if it did not involve the constant bag-drag. I had a four day trip that was 3-4-3-1, and I changed planes everytime! I'd do the A if we could do a pairing that kept the plane. Who would ever think that you would change planes in ORF?! Also, who would think that you'd ever dispatch a plane without an APU?! Else, I'd go back...maybe my wife could actually join me on my trips. With the way we are doing international now, I can't afford her joining me (unless she can say that she'll be back next week or so).

Or the other 6B buyback.

One day this will be viewed as (one of many) management Waterloos.

question for the peanut gallery. I was asked by a more junior guy that if he was awarded a position on this past AE, but doesn't go to training until...say February of next year, and the staffing folks put out another AE in August of this year, could he bid on the August AE for a different position or is he seat locked starting the day of the original AE award or is it after goes to training next year. I tried reading the PWA, but I went to school on a short bus and can't make heads or tails out of it. Thanks whomever knows the answer, cause I don't.

Freeze starts with AE bid award date. You can still change bases with your freeze though on subsequent AEs.

Thanks Planetrain...that's what I thought, I just didn't want to reply to this guy with the wrong stuff. Cheers.

Do you think that will bother any of the residents of Singer Island?

I enjoy flying the Shady 80. Feels like a real airplane compared to a CRJ's FBW controls.

But that darn 90 always seems to wake up angry in the morning.
