So...isn't the 321NEO the one folks are saying can legitimately do LAX-HNL(and back) and transatlantic? Extra fuel and efficient engines and all that.

It's a marginal transatlantic aircraft off long runways with shorter range than a 757 with winglets. The difference grows with shorter runways and higher temps in favor of the 757.

It’s the closest approximation to the 757 offered by any manufacturer today.

Too bad they didn’t approximate the main door in the right place...

Good, the 321 is superior to anything boeing makes in that category. Maybe Southwest will buy some more of those ****ty 737s.

‘merkin actually has gate agents trained to park at L2 at some stations. Ours have the big door at L2 as well...

It's an option. we just didn't chose to buy it. Just like several others.

If you look closely, we actually do have the big door at L2.

Regular 320 NEO can do Hawaii with no problems. 320 NEO LR can do Europe. JetBlue has ordered 60 NEO's with the option to get the LR version. They said they will do Europe out of JFK and BOS if they get the LR's.

That would make it interesting - I asked a couple CA’s and they said no way it’d happen... I’m just here for the free beer.
