So...isn't the 321NEO the one folks are saying can legitimately do LAX-HNL(and back) and transatlantic? Extra fuel and efficient engines and all that.

Yes. 321LR NEO( or 321 NEO LR) is touted as a 4000nm airplane. MAX10 is 3200NM....I think.

From what I understand all the 321's are plumbed for the LR extra belly tank, but they dont have that LR tank installed.

Hawaiian just launched the 321 NEO to/from US west coast.
