The HAL 321’s have the PurePower PW’s on their new etops 321’s. The assumption is that is what DAL is getting. Plus- DAL has the luxury of 24 months of further tweaking and improvements being done by other carriers prior to delivery to ATL. Stay tuned |
It would seem the P&W overhaul component is pretty huge part of this deal.
Once the P&W design matures, delta tech ops will be positioned as the dominant overhaul facility for an industry standard engine. Smart move. All our jv partners need to get their oil changes somplace. May as well be in our garage. :) And im gona give our team the credit and assume built in economic offsets from AB/PW if the promised operational goals are not achieved. |

"There goes Pratt ... (1 Mississippi, 2 Mississippi ..) and there goes Whitney." Now apparently there are gears to turn as well. |
The big Mexican overhaul facility will fit in nicely.

Do we know yet if these are the LR versions and is it safe to say that as the classic 321 and Neo 321 come on board anywhere you see a 757 now you will see that later?
