I'll believe new hires on the ER in large numbers when I see it offered to NH classes

Yup...bad choice of words on my part. Should have said "posted IAW 22.D.5"

BS says many things. Unless the 330 starts picking up the 763 domestic stuff then I could see it possibly being bottom 20% being stupid junior, huge gap, then guys who don't bid it until they are safely in the international if I want it zone.

Again, will believe it when its posted in a new hire drop.

Granted, this is more vacancies than we've had, but I haven't seen them offered to new hires even though there have been unfilled slots.

I do know when I went through IQ, there was a lot of grousing from the SLIs and NSLIs about it shouldn't be a new hire plane.

As an SLI I don’t think there’s any problem with new hires coming on the fleet

I know when I did the ER as a new hire I found the training refreshingly easier than my RJ training and world wide ops was well laid out and easy to complete and do.

I don't think it will drop below 12000. Trips are too good and payrate is significant boost from most FO pay. NYC717/220 will likely be in the 12500-13000 range

Can only comment on what my experience was which is a data point of 1.

There were a couple straight out of military guys that needed some ET around that time but they all got on the line no problem.

The guys who said such to me thought it was tough to learn two airplanes while learning Delta procedures.

I didn't have an issue, but I spent most if my pre Delta Navy and Civil flying being multiple qualified. 60s and C12s, King Air and JetRanger, T44 and T34 etc.

Shouldn’t be an issue now that we are parking the 76Ts. Airbus will be the heavy fleet soon. Aside from a few VIP charters the 7ER will continue to wither on the vine. I think that’s why BS sees new hires in the 330.
