We had a schedule but it changed, which is why I don’t trust any communications. But more bad info is always fun for the social media entertainment value. BS knows more than us but the stuff he knew but didn’t apply to reality is what I want to know. Plans change like the weather around here.

Considering the T’s accelerated parking do any of ya’ll crystalballers see 7ERA going below 8500?

only a few of them
i think it's going to come really close to 12k yeah, having trained both on the fleet new hires generally show up more prepared than anyone else we are only parking a few 76s, that has nothing to do with the fleet plan for new hires. parking them in lieu of a few other airplanes...the gulf air birds are going to charters instead of being parked so it's still a net loss but doesnt sting as much. |

I’ve heard rumblings of the NFL doing something with some 767s like the NBA did with the 757s. Anyone know if there’s any truth to that? And why would you park anything with the Max RTS delayed through the summer unless there’s not enough of us to fly them.

are charters considered a good deal. I’ve seen some with crazy bad quasi red eyes. Like takeoff out of philly at 1am and land in New York at 2:30am
Side bar regarding the 76T’s; those are the newest and most capable 767-300’s on property delivered around 1999-2001 timeframe. From what I understand, those frames will not be reconfigured in high density as planned, but they will replace a commensurate number of the older 76L’s from the early 1990’s and remain in the fleet. It’s a wash with regard to block hours and AE positions, but they have electric seats so I suppose it’s worth noting :D |

I’d argue that anything keeping widebody time in the fleet is a good deal!

I did a couple out of curiosity but now I avoid them. The odd hours are bad enough. What's worse is when you get to the jet, only to find out the game went extra innings/overtime. Now you're sitting on a dead jet for hours earning squat.
