Projecting Delta’s Loses

I can tell you one thing. Jerry's promises of retro and taking as long as we need to were dead wrong. When we finally do get a contract even if it's not concessionary, we probably won't even get a signing bonus at this point.
What was right was me saying these guys were going to retire under the current contract without getting an extra cent yet alone a few hundred thousand. I told you so Jerry.

Dude, why didn’t you warn the government that this was going to happen? Don’t you feel responsible for seeing it coming and taking no action? Give me a break.

Gov Cuomo just addressed this in his latest TV appearance. Non COVID-19 hospital admissions are down due in large part to fewer automobile and crime related traumas. The missing numbers in the equation are the increased deaths tied to unemployment. Every 1% rise in unemployment = X increase in deaths. SARS CoV 2 protection measures aren’t happening in a vacuum.

Further, we can now see how demand-based bargaining plays out as management engages in politically oriented bargaining positions and we quickly reject the same.
If ever our society needs data-driven nerds, it is now.

Uh, so 45 trucks for a city of nearly 19 million people? That’s not “rows” of them at a hospital. This is how the panic gets manufactured.
Did you know that people still die, even if they don’t get COVID? The number of non-COVID deaths is going to go down, but not by that much. There are going to be more deaths than normal for the next 2-3 months. According to your link, the city has added ~2,000 available morgue spots with the trailers. For a city of nearly 19 million.
Elmhurst Hospital, the poster hospital for the panic, has one trailer as of the 26th of March.

We includes most of the industrialized world was not prepared to deal with a surge in the virus. The medical professionals aren't prepared for the number of cases. You say let them die? Round them up and put them in a stadium? What's the plan?
