there’s a study of 12 big coronavirus studies that said 7 of 12 said fatality rate similar to flu, 2 said slightly lower and 2 slightly higher. So 9/12 said same or less.
if you look at Pennsylvania, 4600 deaths, 70% are from nursing homes... and yet 13,000,000 on house arrest.

Georgia cases are decreasing despite greater testing three weeks after opening.

Not only that, some of the nursing homes have been telling residents that they (the nursing homes) get to keep the resident’s stimulus checks if the resident is on Medicaid. Blatantly illegal.

Here's NYC for example:
source is here:https://www1.nyc.gov/site/doh/covid/covid-19-data.page
go down to "Daily Counts" top left of graph click "hospitalizations". Deaths are lagging. Hospitalization is accurate to within 3 days. the last bar is the 17th. I pulled the chart this morning.

As far as I remember, you can only have a certain max income and assets for medicaid. Maybe like 800 bucks a month and maybe like $500 or $1000 in assets. Anything beyond that, Medicaid could "take" to offset the cost.

Been a few years. My dad was in a nursing home. Got him on medicaid. (He subsisted on social security and a meager pension, so he couldn't afford a nursing home, but was definitely in need of one).

At least the CDC is on top of things and doesn’t keep changing directions.... how do they expect anyone to take them seriously anymore?

Being unable to change directions is a dangerous trait, IMHO. I appreciate the CDC's fact- and (where possible) research-based information.

Personally, I dig data. It would seem that the CDC is collecting and studying it. Did you think that when everyone (including the CDC) was saying that there is much we have to learn about COVID that somehow they should already know the answers?
