People like you disgust me, because I'm not afraid but you demand that I must be as afraid as you. Not only will I not wear a mask, but I will shame those that do.

Long term consequences of Covid are poorly understood.

The same can be said for the vaccine (s). They're a new type based on mRNA (messenger RNA), apparently the first of their kind. Seems like big roll of the dice to inject 7 billion people with an new kind of vaccine without some multi-decade longitudinal studies first.

But the internet is a sewer, it's disinformation and control all the way down. Pretty sure proof of vaccination will be a condition of employment. The time to line up for an exemption is now, if anyone has concerns.

And right there is the problem. The science clearly says that if you don’t feel well, you don’t go out, mask or not. Are you a doctor? Do you know when you’re contagious and when you’re not? Do you which virus you’re suffering from and shedding to those around you? It’s this mentality that’s causing the explosion in CV-positive cases right now.

But “science!”

What you’re describing is ACTUAL science, not the throwaway context of the word people use to project their intellectual superiority.

I can’t help but think of this scene when referencing the RNA CV vaccine:

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=B3xY6Ffy_wE

Replace “cancer” with “Covid-19.”

Jerry is an optimist. Got to love his spirit. OTOH, some of these guys had TS clearances and carried nukes. This type of conspiracy talk would have more than raised a few eyebrows at my unit. Maybe a psych eval.

I don't think you caught what I meant, I'm talking post COVID no more pandemic back to 'normal' times. Sometimes you have a sniffle but need to get groceries or take the kids to school whatever that's just life. Previous to living in times of a pandemic I think the vast majority of Americans (including myself) wouldn't have considered wearing a mask.

In the future I think this might change to some degree and more folks will be cognizant of wearing masks if they don't feel great but have to be out, washing their hands more often and try not to be so dirty. Because the reality is many folks in this country go to work sick or lack proper sick time to take care of themselves and can't afford to call in sick. In our own industry how many times have we heard, "it's just allergies, I think I'm fine" when clearly that crew member should've stayed home? All that combined maybe the typical cold/flu season could be a little better for all?

Had a captain one night come out of the lav who clearly didn't wash his hands, who had been blowing his nose constantly, then offered me the tomatoes from his salad - in his dirty *** hands no less - and I'm like...ahhh no I'm good thanks. Gross man.

I get it. It’s all about you.

You have one set of rules for Covid-19, and another set of rules for “the sniffles.” How do you know you’re not passing “the sniffles” to an immunocompromised person while you’re out and about “not feeling well?” Your “sniffles” could be a death sentence to someone else.

Unbelievable, brah.

I don't think we're talking about the same thing here.

don't ever leave your house. You must be terrified of everyone. Flying will not get back to what it was because of people like you.

not true. Research what they were prosecuted for. I’m certainly not doing your homework for you.
regardless, if you read what I said, I’m pointing out that there was at least evidence to initiate an investigation.not that it lead anywhere.

Where is the evidence of massive voter fraud?
where is the evidence that supports undermining 73 million Americans faith in our democracy? Where is the back bone of the GOP to say enough is enough? At least some of them are finally at their thresholds for this obviously selfish stupidly on our POTUS’ part.
