Tesla model Y

Regardless, this is a pretty terrible example to demonstrate how a Tesla will outpull a Powerstroke F250.

I don't travel in my electric, it adds way too much time to a road trip. For my typical truck use the lower range would not be a problem. The problem for me would be the price for the trucks. Seventy to eighty thousand to go to lowes and get a few pieces of lumber or some mulch or a trip to the landfill is out of bounds. For my trucks I am a wind down windows and rubber floor mat guy. Still pizzed you can't get a manual transmission any more.

The Tacoma still has manual transmissions available on certain models, but yes, it is annoying that manual trucks are almost impossible to get these days.

If you like going slow ... .
Had to be somewhere in a hurry yesterday. Putting on a Tesla is like Tony Stark putting on his Ironman suit. An AMG E63 driver was dorking with his phone (dealer tags, so probably a car salesman) I gave a polite honk to point out the light had been green for a while. He took offense, responded with a one finger salute and decided to show me how fast his car was. ... he got dusted by a M3 SR+... I was about 40 feet ahead before all of his twin turbo, crankshafts. torque converters, (whatever the German word is for transfer case) and driveshafts could turn.
Yeah - on a racetrack, his car would beat mine. On the street, reaction time is everything. Nothing but a Tesla can hang with a Tesla. Haven't found a Mustang or Corvette that can hang either.
A $44,000 Tesla will outmatch most anything this side of $130,000
A $114,000 Tesla will outmatch a $4,000,000.00 Bugatti Chiron
A $70,000 Tesla will out pull a F250 6.7L PowerStroke
anyone who desires performance will go electric or just be < the best.

I rather pay for the gas guzzler and have the sound.
