It won't. After this upcoming AE closes, unbid vacancies will be awarded to new hire classes. If there isn't currently a class drop it's due to them trying to sort out staffing and availability. There are still pilots from the April 2021 bid that need training.

Senior flight ops leadership stated in a recent town hall that the 100 hours in the last 12 months isn’t even a requirement, just highly recommended. And the longer you’ve been away from planes it hurts your chances more. But there apparently isn’t a number. I know 2 people recently that got hired. 1 had zero in the last 12, the other had only GA flying in the last 12. FWIW, obviously the more you have the better.

Would someone be able to give the following details. I've been following the thread for a while and I see where NYC is far superior as it was stated earlier vs ATL and DTW. I'm really looking at a comparison of fastest way to a line. Sitting RSV like most other people is not what I enjoy. Atlanta is a super easy commute to home vs NYC, a little harder but doable. Delta is my number 1, and I know things will change as time goes on, but just curious what my options could be for family and QOL if it were available to me now. Thanks!
