Are they reinstatements from UNA, lost their freezes, went back to the 7ER subsequently bid 765 right after coming out of UNA?

SLC320 may have had the longest drought of the NBs. Glad to see that broken.

I did. Awarded 7ER April 2021 with a 24 month freeze. Awarded 765 Feb 2022. Was 717 after being UNA before that with no freeze.

It is 100% how it works. Because it is a short course upgrade (or differences I think they call it), once you are 9 months into your freeze for the ER, you can be awarded the 765

From what I can tell they were waiving seat locks, which they can do. BS also said that they are trying to limit training churn by getting people into higher paying wide-bodies that they think they might stay in so that fits into their plan.

In my case I had a 24 month seat lock until April 2023 on the 7ER. They waived my seatlock and awarded me 765 in Feb 2022, which would normally give me only a 9 month lock to Nov. 2022.

So when should my lock expire? April '23 or Nov. '22? Right now it's listed at Feb. 2024 which is totally wrong.

There is no stipulation of adding on to the existing freeze for FOs where they waive locks, only entry pilots or new captains that break their 24 month lock.

From what I think it's that my original 7ER lock should be wiped out since they waived it and I should have a 9 month lock that starts from Feb 2022 and ends in November 2022

Are you currently in a 7ER pilot category? If so, and your seat freeze is up, you may bid 765 and avoid a 24 month seat freeze and incur a 9 month seat freeze.

However, the company may, solely at its own discretion, award you 765 while you still have a category freeze on the 7ER and you will only incur the 9-month seat freeze from date of award.

Clear as mud?
