Caveat, people awarded NYC7ER in newhire classes this summer were able to hold ATL ER on the jumper recent AE. Of course it’s no guarantee for the future, but people are getting into ATL on ER, 320, 73 within a bid roughly. #1 thing is to avoid the 220, then it’s all just waiting for your time to shine.

Yes, depending on your timing it could be just a few months, especially on the 73. I'd plan on a year just in case you're unlucky with our unpredictable AE system.

I was awarded a western base before I even started initial a few years back. That was during a time when hiring levels were similar to what they’re projecting now. However, my conversion didn’t take place for 6 months so I still went to NYC for that time. If hiring continues as planned I think you’ll have a solid shot at all 3 western bases on either fleet on the Q4 AE.
