Hey it's just one person's opinion that the 757 cockpit is more comfy than the 737. You do you. Obviously neither hold a candle in comfort to the airbus.

The 757 will be gone soon enough where everyone will be able to enjoy a 737 or airbus flightdeck.
To be clear, I agree the 757 flight deck is much roomier, just the 73N isn't as bad as implied,

At 6'6 I can see it being snug, but 6' isn't so bad. I'm glad we don't try to put both pilot bags in the 737 flight deck.

Shameless lurker of this forum currently flying the ERJ175, building time, and pining for the Delta invite. Even at 6’2” on a much smaller plane, the JSer’s knees are still just behind my shoulder. My personal experience from having sat JS on the 73, the JSer actually has two additional crew duties while sitting up front. Tear the sheets off of the printer and throw away all of the trash as it gets handed back. In this business currently, half of the rides to work are on the JS because everything is oversold.
Posted this for our military people, as Uncle Sugar has a lot smaller cockpits than anything flying in the airlines. The original post about the 73’s cockpit being very tight could be incorrectly likened to smashing and folding one’s self to fit into a OH-58 or a single seat fighter.

Lastly, on some of the 4:45 block, two pilot flights, I like to be able to stand up and shake the legs out for a bit on the flight deck, even if we had a jump seater. Helps to stay awake and alert on the UIO-ATL legs!

Bottom line: What an amazing time. Back when I was hired all 50 of us but 1 (727 FE SLC) in my class had ONE choice, 737-200 in Orlando!

Not long ago the ER was doing MEX out of LAX. Believe it ended in the summer though.

You’ll see a decent number of PTY and CUN overnights also, and a little bit of AUA and DR overnights sprinkled in that end up touching JFK, but yeah, most of the Caribbean is turns for ATL based folks.
