For those lurking, Delta doesn’t have a “drop” in that a minimum have to go to each category (like UA does). They only list categories and can assign up to as many of each that they want (up to as many positions were left over from the last AE).
There have been classes where no one got below their 2nd or 3rd choice. In others, training capacity for the company leads to people getting their lower choices.
Most importantly…every class is different. What went high last this class will be completely different from every other class. I’ve seen some where the 717s go first and the ER is last. Don’t read too much into it.

Hopefully lurkers understand that this is also an unusual time for the hiring department. Movement is so fast these days that it’s equally efficient for the company to allow new hires to have a lot of options rather than shoehorn them into the most jr equipment in junior domiciles. Obviously we won’t have 75% NYCM88B classes anymore but that type of ‘drop’ will return soon enough.

Wasn’t sure if you were in the class.
Not trying to come across snarky, but the “bottom 10” part is pretty pointless without context. That’s more or less what I was getting at. Don’t want someone making plans or decisions based on what this class’ makeup was. (Not that I’d advocate for someone making life altering decisions based on APC)
