Bidding a plane based off “type of flying” is a mixed bag. If network can change what one fleet is doing to make an extra nickel, they will, and your type of flying is gone. Same with layover locations and such. Buyer beware.

They are issuing way more CJOs each week than the number starting indoc each week. It stands to reason then that the time between CJO and indoc will keep increasing, especially when you add in the flows who are added to the classes.

it’s now about 4 months between CJO and class. I’m in the same boat as you (May 25 CJO). We just have to stay patient

It changes as planes age. New efficient airplanes take the longer routes. More air time saving fuel, less non revenue ground time for a high $$ asset. Cheaper less efficient aircraft cost less while sitting at the gate for turns, but burn more in flight. 757 FL turns, 321NEO/737MAX transcons is the logical end result.
