One of the new hires here for 1/17. Out of the 47 people in our group, none complained about aircraft type. We were bummed about selection and the lack of base choices but regardless happy to be a part of delta.

Guess not all of us are salty.

I just like how they bid ahead of class now. No “what base will I get?” hanging over the first half of indoc. Seems a better process, and they also seem to make an effort to have usually a wider spread of base/aircraft and get people something higher up their list.

With the AIP leveling 319/320 up, the pay gap between that and 220 isn’t nothing. I’m sure the 220 is a fine plane, but for the same number of hours worked you’re leaving money on the table.
