If you are a 320 FO, does it make 330/350 training quicker..?

What’s junior FO SEA for 330? Thanks

with a little seniority, decent. WAY better than the other new hire planes. For FOs around 75% of the bid packet in the summer is 3 day Europe or Africa which is late departure early arrival.

320 to 330 in the 'same seat' is a short course. I've heard it described as "an 8 day course which is 7 days too long".

SEA330B plug is 9774/16237. Aug 2017 hire. As has been said many times, DOH is the least effective way to estimate seniority for today’s new hire. It’ll be over 13 years before todays NH gets to that number. Deliveries and SLC opening not withstanding, there’s a very small non zero chance someone hired this year will see that seat this decade.

Yep which is currently around 67% seniority. If hired today at 16,500 that would mean you’d need to be 11,000 to hold the plug SEA330. 400 retirements per year that puts a new hire at 14 years to hold it. We will be growing so with a 10% growth that puts you at 12,000 ish so 12 years to hold SEA330B.

Jr SEA 330 FO is currently right at 5 years on property. But this is a terrible measure given the fact we have hired nearly 5000 pilots in the last 2 years.

A much better gauge is overall company seniority, which is currently 60%, going to 65% based on the last AE.

*Edit* I’m apparently a slow typer…
